A groundbreaking discovery has been made regarding an invisible, weak energy field surrounding our planet known as the ambipolar field. This electric field was initially theorized over 60 years ago and has finally been detected and measured. The implications of this discovery are vast, as it will revolutionize the way we research and comprehend the dynamics and progression of our ever-changing world.

Earth is not simply a static mass floating in space; it is enveloped by various energy fields that play a crucial role in its existence. One such field is the gravity field, a fundamental force that is responsible for holding our planet together. The magnetic field, generated by Earth’s rotating conductive core, serves as a shield against solar wind and radiation, effectively preserving our atmosphere.

The discovery of the ambipolar field dates back to 1968 when scientists uncovered an escaping stream of particles detected by spacecraft traversing Earth’s poles. This phenomenon was attributed to a third energy field, the ambipolar field, which disrupts the equilibrium between ions and electrons in the atmosphere.

The ambipolar field operates at an altitude of approximately 250 kilometers in the ionosphere, where ultraviolet and solar radiation ionize atmospheric atoms, producing charged ions and electrons. An electric field emerges to maintain charge neutrality, effectively tethering ions and electrons together. This bidirectional force results in the expansion of the atmosphere, enabling ions to escape into space, causing the polar wind.

To measure the exceedingly feeble ambipolar field, astronomer Glyn Collinson and his team developed specialized instrumentation and launched the Endurance mission in May 2022. The mission successfully reached an altitude of 768.03 kilometers and recorded an electric potential change of merely 0.55 volts, elucidating the mechanism behind the polar wind.

Despite its subtle nature, the ambipolar field exerts a significant influence, exerting a force 10.6 times stronger than gravity on hydrogen ions, propelling them into space at supersonic speeds. Oxygen ions are also uplifted, augmenting the ionosphere’s density by 271% at higher altitudes. This discovery marks the initial phase in understanding the broader ramifications of the ambipolar field on Earth’s evolution and ecosystem.

The detection of Earth’s ambipolar field is a milestone in scientific exploration, shedding new light on the intricate interplay of energy forces shaping our planet. Further research is imperative to unveil the full extent of the ambipolar field’s impact on Earth’s past, present, and future. As we continue to delve deeper into the mysteries of our world, the significance of the ambipolar field as a fundamental component of Earth’s functionality becomes increasingly apparent.
